Project Overview

As part of the ongoing development of the Web3 Grant Registry on the Arbitrum network, the Cartographer Syndicate seeks proposals for integrating advanced data analytics and visualization tools within the registry. The goal is to provide users with valuable insights into the grant landscape, project performance, and ecosystem trends, enabling data-driven decision-making and fostering stakeholder collaboration.

Awardees — Ecosystem Vision will create a comprehensive grant information ecosystem with customized data collection and interactive dashboards. They will customize Gitcoin forms for data collection, integrate with OSO systems, and create visualizations of funding trends and project success rates. Their approach will include BigQuery integration and YAML files for efficient data processing to build a scalable solution for the Web3 Grant Registry.

Scope of Work

The selected developer or team will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated data analytics and visualization features within the Web3 Grant Registry. This includes:

  1. Designing the questions and input data requirements to ensure the analytics and visualization features provide actionable insights, considering factors such as ecosystem participation, grant program effectiveness, and user interests.
  2. Developing data processing pipelines to collect, clean, and analyze grant-related data from various sources, including on-chain transactions, off-chain databases, external APIs, and social media data.
  3. Creating interactive dashboards and data visualization tools that allow users to explore and derive insights from grant data, such as funding trends, project success rates, and impact metrics.
  4. Implementing machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, predict outcomes, and recommend relevant grant opportunities or collaborations based on user preferences and historical data.
  5. Integrating the analytics and visualization features seamlessly with the existing Web3 Grant Registry infrastructure, ensuring compatibility with the reputation system, matchmaking system, and other modules.
  6. Providing comprehensive documentation and user guides for the analytics and visualization tools, enabling users to leverage the insights generated effectively.

The proposal should include a detailed plan for developing and integrating the analytics and visualization features and a testing, deployment, and user training timeline.
