- The Cartographer Syndicate program administrator will initially screen all applications for completeness and basic qualifications.
- Qualified applications will be forwarded to the respective domain lead for in-depth review.
Domain-Specific Evaluation:
- Chroniclers (Ops): Sov (Gitcoin) will review applications, bringing experience in project management and BD.
- Archivists (Development): Mahesh (Karma) will evaluate candidates, leveraging his technical expertise and approach to development.
- Silencers (Data & Analytics): Carl (Open Source Observer) will assess applicants, drawing on his knowledge of data analysis and its application.
- Selection Process:
- Domain leads will review applications within their respective areas.
- Leads may conduct interviews or request additional information from promising candidates.
- Leads will select candidates based on their qualifications, experience, and potential fit with the Syndicate's culture and goals.
- Approval Workflow:
- Domain leads will present their selected candidates to the program administrator.
- The program administrator will review selections to ensure diversity of skills and geographical distribution.
- Final approval will be a collaborative decision between the domain lead and the program administrator.
- Onboarding:
- Approved contributors will be notified via the Telegram handle they provided.
- They will be added to the Cartographer Syndicate's Telegram group.
- Contributors will receive necessary tools (e.g., Clockify licenses) and onboarding information.
- Ongoing Evaluation:
- Domain leads will regularly review the performance and contributions of their team members.
- Leads will approve time entries and continuously assess the quality of work.
- Contributors who consistently meet or exceed expectations may be considered for expanded responsibilities or leadership roles within the Syndicate.
